What stays on this device

Challenge links

If you tap Beat my crew, we store a snapshot of that crew (bots, stats, foods, pit charge), your pit name or @handle, your round score, and a salted network hash that changes every day so we can limit link spam. We never store your IP address. If you are signed in, the link is tied to your account. If you made it after fighting someone else's link (win, lose or draw), we note which link it came from. A guest's pit name is kept on this device (fp-pit-name). So are up to 5 of the latest links you made here (fp-crew-links). A link's open and fight counts are public to anyone with the link, and once a fight on it finishes, its preview shows the tries so far and how many broke it. When you finish a fight on a link, we keep the same kind of daily network hash with that link, so one network can add at most 3 fights a day to its counts. Links stop working after 30 days; expired links, their open and fight counts, and those network hashes are then deleted in routine cleanup.

If you sign in

Log in with X stores a session cookie and your handle / avatar so we can stamp Daily and the season ladder. Play still works as a guest.

Ads

Default builds show no network ads. A mock placeholder can appear between matches for verify. A real network, if Ryan turns one on, may set its own cookies and may need a consent banner. Ads never change Elo, win chance, or combat power.

We do not sell your data. Questions: @fridaypit.
